THE WINNER WILL NOT RECEIVE THE DEWALT TOOL PRIZE.

RESIDENTS OF ALASKA AND HAWAII ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ENTER.

The Trade School Donation Sweepstakes by DEWALT (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by DEWALT Industrial Tool Co., Towson, MD (“Sponsor”). This Sweepstakes will be held at the DEWALT Booth #1735, Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference in Houston, TX, (“Sweepstakes Location”). The entry period will be October 9 - 11, 2026 during the time the DEWALT Booth is open (“Entry Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official Sweepstakes timekeeper. By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor which shall be final and legally binding in all respects. Each entrant understands that they are providing their information to Sponsor, and the information provided will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy (https://www.stanleyblackanddecker.com/privacy-policy). Should there be conflict between Sponsor’s privacy policy and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall govern. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's entry in this Sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor or its designee and used by Sponsor and/or its designees for purposes of the proper administration, fulfillment, publicizing and promotion of this Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules, as stated in Sponsor’s privacy policy or as otherwise expressly consented to by entrant during the opt-in required to enter during this Sweepstakes. If an entrant does not fully agree to the terms of Sponsor’s privacy policy, such entrant should not enter this Sweepstakes. Limit of one (1) Entry per person; one (1) Winner to be declared; and (1) prize to be awarded. The Winner shall designate a Training Center Recipient (defined below) to receive the DEWALT tool prize (defined below); the Winner will not be awarded a physical prize. Entrants must enter this Sweepstakes on behalf of themselves only, as individuals, and not on behalf of any business, legal entity, organization, or other person. Subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

1.   ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to persons who meet all the following requirements: legal resident of one of the 48 contiguous states of USA or Washington, D.C. (residents of Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible to enter), age 18 or older, registered attendee at the Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference during the Entry Period and have a valid form of government-issued photo identification. Employees, their immediate families (spouse, domestic partner, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren and stepfamily members) and/or people living in the same household (related or not) of Sponsor, Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., or any of their respective affiliates (individually and collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to enter. In addition, employees of the Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference vendors, its exhibitors, its suppliers, any entity involved with the promotion or administration of this Sweepstakes, direct USA government agencies (federal, state or local) including all contracted workers of USA government, and any non-registered individuals at the Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes.

2. HOW TO ENTER: Entrants may enter this Sweepstakes, during the Entry Period only at the Sweepstakes Location, as follows:

(A) with your personal cell phone or device, scan the QR code located on the Sweepstakes Location signage;

(B) enter all required information and opt-in to receive marketing communications from Sponsor (entrants may unsubscribe at any time from receiving marketing communications from Sponsor after completing their Entry in this Sweepstakes); and

Limit of one (1) Entry per person. All information requested on the entry form is required to be completed by entrants to enter this Sweepstakes. Each fully completed and valid entry received by Sponsor during the Entry Period will qualify as one (1) “Entry” and will be entered in the random drawing for a chance to win and thereby determine who will choose the Training Center Recipient to receive the DEWALT tool prize. If this Sweepstakes is not completed in accordance with these Official Rules, the entrant’s entry will be voided. Sponsor will not be responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, incorrect, illegible, damaged, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries and such invalidated entries will be disqualified and not entered in the random drawing. Tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Sweepstakes is prohibited and any entries deemed by Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, to have been entered in this manner will be voided. An entry will be disqualified if it is forged, falsified, altered or improperly tampered with in any way. Any attempt by any entrant to enter by using multiple or different email addresses, identities, or any other method will be voided, and entrant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same entry, email address, identification or other information used in connection with entering this Sweepstakes. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All Entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor reserves the right to contact any entrant whose information is submitted as part of entry in this Sweepstakes. Entrants must enter this Sweepstakes on behalf of themselves only, as individuals, and not on behalf of any business, legal entity, training center, organization or other person.

3. RANDOM DRAWING: The random drawing will be held by Sponsor at Sponsor’s Towson, MD location at or about 9 a.m. on October 15, 2026. The one (1) Entry drawn will be declared the potential random drawing Winner (potential “Winner”). Odds of winning depend on the total number of Entries received by Sponsor during the Entry Period. AN ENTRANT IS NOT THE OFFICIAL WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN ADVISED BY SPONSOR THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.

4. NOTIFICATION: The potential Winner will be notified by Sponsor via email within two (2) business days after the random drawing is held. Such potential Winner must respond to Sponsor within ten (10) business days after such initial notification and provide the following documents to Sponsor -- failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize: (a) legible, fully completed and personally signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form (“Affidavit and Release”), except where prohibited by law, and (b) the name and contact information of the potential “Training Center Recipient” they choose to have the DEWALT tool prize donated to. Sponsor shall have no liability for any notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by the potential Winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts by Sponsor, the potential Winner does not respond to notification from Sponsor as required herein, if notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, or if the potential Winner is found to be ineligible, has not complied with these Official Rules or declines to designate a Training Center Recipient (and provide such Recipient’s name and contact information to Sponsor) within the required time period, for any reason, such potential Winner will be disqualified and forfeit prize. The potential Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules. In the event the potential Winner is disqualified, Sponsor may, but shall not be required to, select an alternate potential Winner.

5. TRAINING CENTER RECIPIENT: The potential Training Center Recipient designated by the Winner must meet the following criteria to receive the DEWALT tool prize: (a) be located within one of the 48 states of the contiguous USA or Washington, D.C.; (b) be in the business of training current and future tradespeople. Sponsor has the right to reject any designated potential Training Center Recipient, in its sole and absolute discretion, in which case the potential Winner would be asked to designate an alternate Training Center Recipient. The potential Training Center Recipient must return to Sponsor the following legible, fully completed and signed documents within thirty (30) days after Sponsor’s initial contact -- failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize: (a) an IRS tax form W-9 confirming the Training Center Recipient is subject to tax withholding or is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization that is not subject to tax withholding; and (b) their initial list, in order of preference and quantity, of the DEWALT products they would like to receive having a maximum total approximate retail value of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000). If the potential Training Center Recipient is found to be ineligible as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the donated DEWALT tool prize, such potential Training Center Recipient will be disqualified and forfeit the DEWALT tool prize. If a potential Training Center Recipient is disqualified and/or forfeits such prize, Sponsor may, but shall not be required to, ask the Winner to designate an alternate potential Training Center Recipient to receive the DEWALT tool prize. THE POTENTIAL TRAINING CENTER RECIPIENT IS NOT THE OFFICIAL RECIPIENT OF THE DEWALT TOOL PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL IT HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ADVISED BY SPONSOR THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.

6. PRIZE: The prize awarded to the Winner is the opportunity to designate a Training Center Recipient of their choice to receive a donation of DEWALT products having the total approximate retail value of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) (defined as the “DEWALT tool prize”). The Winner will not receive a physical prize. The Winner’s only prize is the opportunity to designate a Training Center Recipient to receive the DEWALT tool prize donation from Sponsor.

Sponsor will donate the DEWALT tool prize to the official Training Center Recipient designated by the Winner, subject to these Official Rules. Upon Sponsor receiving all required documents and information from the Training Center Recipient, Sponsor’s representative will contact the Training Center Recipient to finalize the list of DEWALT products in the DEWALT tool prize. The DEWALT tool prize may include non-tool products of the Training Center Recipient’s choice (e.g. batteries, chargers, accessories, toolboxes, and storage, etc.); for purposes of this Sweepstakes, these DEWALT products are referred to as “DEWALT tools” and are part of the “DEWALT tool prize”. Sponsor shall arrange delivery of the DEWALT tool prize to the Training Center Recipient within the 48 contiguous states of the USA or the District of Columbia only. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any delays in delivery of the DEWALT tool prize that are not within its control. A representative of the Training Center Recipient must personally receive the DEWALT tool prize at its designated delivery address. If unclaimed, the DEWALT tool prize will not be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for the Training Center Recipient’s acceptance, use or misuse of the DEWALT tool prize. The donation of the DEWALT tool prize will be comprised of DEWALT products only and have no cash or credit value. The DEWALT tool prize is non-transferrable, non-assignable, and not redeemable for cash, credit or resale. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the DEWALT tool prize or any part of such prize, for a prize or part, of equal or greater value for any reason whatsoever, in its sole and absolute discretion. The total approximate retail value of the DEWALT tool prize represents Sponsor’s good faith determination and is final and binding and cannot be challenged or appealed. The donation of the DEWALT tool prize depiction in any Sweepstakes-related advertising may not represent the actual DEWALT tool prize awarded to the Training Center Recipient. All income and other taxes (federal, state and local) on the DEWALT tool prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Training Center Recipient.

7.   PUBLICITY RELEASE: The Winner agrees to permit Sponsor to use Winner's name, photograph, video, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements, testimonial (in whole or part), prize information, and address (city and state) (collectively, "Attributes") for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, without further compensation or authorization (except where prohibited by law) and the Winner agrees to release Sponsor from all claims arising out of the use of such Attributes. Sponsor may publish or disclose Winner’s name upon written request, where required by law.  

8.   ENTRY CONDITIONS AND RELEASES: By entering this SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES for entrant and for entrant’s heirs, executors, administrators, representatives, insurers and assigns: (A) to release and hold harmless and indemnify the Sweepstakes Entities, Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference, Sweepstakes prize suppliers, DEWALT licensed partners, all individuals and entities involved in fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting this Sweepstakes and each of their respective past and present officers, directors, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, representatives, licensees and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, expenses, liabilities, personal injury, death, illness, property loss, litigation or damages of any kind to persons and/or property (including but not limited to invasion of privacy under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory, defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights) that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, arising out of such entrant’s entry in Sweepstakes and/or such entrant’s acceptance of the prize; and (B) to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses and/or liabilities arising out of or relating to such entrant’s entry in this Sweepstakes and/or entrant’s acceptance of the prize. Released Parties are not responsible for, and each entrant hereby releases the Released Parties from, any claims arising from: (i) lost, late, illegible, mutilated, misdirected, damaged, corrupted, inaccessible, inaccurate or incomplete entries; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctions or interruptions of any computer, equipment, cable, network, hardware or software, programming, or technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in the entry process or technical or human error which may occur in the administration of or processing of Entries in this Sweepstakes;  and (iv) theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any electronic or typographical errors in the printing, advertisement or reproduction of these Official Rules, in any advertisement or promotional material related to this Sweepstakes (print or online) or in administration of this Sweepstakes including but not limited to depiction of the prize or announcement of the Winner and/or Training Center Recipient.

9.  RELEASE OF CLAIMS (CALIFORNIA): Each entrant acknowledges that there is a possibility that, subsequent to their involvement with this Sweepstakes and adherence to these Official Rules they may discover facts or incur or suffer claims which were unknown or unsuspected at the time agreeing to these Official Rules, and which if known by them at that time may have materially affected their decision to enter this Sweepstakes. Such entrants acknowledge and agree that by reason of these Official Rules, and the release contained in the preceding subsections, they are assuming any risk of such unknown facts and such unknown and unsuspected claims. Such entrants acknowledge that they have read these Official Rules and, as such, hereby have been advised of the existence of Section 1542 of the California Civil Code, which provides: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor.”

10.   DISQUALIFICATION/FORCE MAJEURE: Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend or terminate this Sweepstakes if it determines, in its sole discretion, that this Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of this Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. If an insufficient number of eligible Entries are received and/or Sponsor is prevented from awarding the DEWALT tool prize to a Training Center Recipient or continuing with this Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health or other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, pandemic (e.g. Coronavirus/Covid-19), order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), Sponsor shall have the right to modify, extend or terminate this Sweepstakes. If this Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select the potential Winner in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances.

11.  DISPUTES:  Except where prohibited, entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' or legal fees; and (3) unless otherwise prohibited, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of State of Maryland or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland.
